Ten Years of Moksh Consulting
Dear community,
I’m writing to you today from a slow morning quieted by spaciousness. New York has been drenched by heatwaves and thunderstorms, and all the waters are flowing. Today’s peak of 30 degree celsius is lower than the coolest part of the summer day in Kuwait, where my parents are quite accustomed to highs of 43 celsius (close to 110 F). What we feel is quite relative. This is saying nothing about the multiple times Kuwait has been caught in the cross fire between Iran and the U.S. since March. I’m grateful my parents are safe, and grieving that many are not.
Speaking of relativity in the space-time continuum, it’s been over ten years since the inception of Moksh Consulting. This journey has been filled with growth and joy, satisfaction and challenge, and the most *incredible* people. From movement leaders I’ve had the honor of working with, to mentors I’ve had the joy of learning from, I am filled with gratitude, and gifts. Doing our work in the world allows us to share our gifts and actualize our potential. That is what I’m here for, and to share those gifts with others for their purpose. Some highlights from this decade have been the coaching clients I’ve witnessed transform, organizations and teams I’ve gotten to facilitate towards their dreams and goals, and the cohort of coaches I’ve gotten to mentor and teach. Others are healing workshops arcing from grief to joy, movement workshops doing the same and donor/funder communities of practice who have moved millions to social movements. I’m particularly grateful to my teachers, colleagues, and support network who have enabled and empowered me to be on purpose. Although my trajectory has taken me to many places, at the heart of it this has always been about building peace, inside out. The kind of peace that is filled with joy, intertwined support and soul purpose, making equity part of the bedrock.
The privilege of working for my Self means I’ve had a decade to study my rhythms, and to consciously evolve. I feel called to channel new streams of flow through writing, speaking and dance, through all forms of storytelling & story creation, and to bring more heart and spirit & vision into our journeys for justice. I’ve realized the kind of psychic, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual energy it takes to do deeply meaningful and transformative work that moves from soul to strategy. And to listen inwards requires large swaths of solitude and silence.
I want to take a moment to highlight a few evolutions.
I’m delighted to share the renewed Moksh website, which reflects more of me and my work now. Please take a wander, enjoy the photos and let me know how you feel as you move through it.
Writing this mokshletter has been one of my joys and ways to connect with you. And this is the last one. I’m moving my writing to Substack, so you can find me there soon.
As my creative & collective work grows, I am working with fewer 1:1 coach partners. Individual coaching is a deeply transformational relational container, and I hold those relationships with care throughout the coaching container. I will now be containing working with five coaching clients at any given time, as I continue consulting and creative work. I have a waitlist already but if you’d like to join, you can sign up here.
Rates have increased though I will continue to offer a sliding scale. My values of sustainability, reciprocity, and abundance for all remain firmly rooted as we all transform.
I’m seeking an excellent Executive Administrator for Moksh Consulting. Please contact me for details if you or someone you know may be an amazing fit for this part-time role.

Gems of Hope and Loving Resistance
Dive Into Intuitive Practices - I want to share a dear colleague nisha purushotham’s newsletter. I relish the clear guidance on courage to look within, and how to connect with land & nature to get more deeply intimate with our inner knowing. You can join nisha’s mailing list to continue receiving wisdom from her deep roots intertwining with earth.
Self - This is a coaching term and way to talk about our highest self, our most capable, calm, innermost self that has all the clarity, compassion and courage we could ever need. More about the 8 Cs here.
An Inquiry - This beautiful question from kqd of Cafe Con Libre - “What are you reading to move closer to wholeness in a time of complete moral unraveling?”
As always, I love hearing from you. If you have reflections or anything else that feels meaningful to share, please do. I am celebrating and in gratitude for what 10 years of practice has brought to me, which includes you. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
With love and grace,
Nitika
